DRAWING AND VIRTUAL DESIGN
All elements of the project are drawn this includes the actual space, floor plan, elevations of walls & the ceiling plan, also all fixtures and fittings/cabinetry are fully drawn in detail, showing junctions of all finishes be that glass & metalwork, sheet material & sunshade or terracota panels.
APPROVAL
A full drawing pack is then issued to the clients designer for review, comment & approval.
SURVEY
A measured survey is carried out of the space in order to identify gaps between the original plan and actual construction. Based on these measurements adjustments are being made to our fabrication drawings and plans for a better onsite fitment.
In house, we use state of the art equipment to fabricate to the most demanding tolerances. Our goal is to fabricate as much of the project as feasible within the controlled environment of our shop. Any products we outsource are carefully vetted for quality, completeness, and on time delivery. Every step, from fabrication to shipping is carefully monitored.
Starting with a precision layout, A continual QC process, fit and finish and onsite testing, USG strives to have a trouble free installation. We take a proactive approach to our installations, if we see something that we feel is incorrect, we say something and work with the other trades to get it right the first time. Our experienced glaziers take enormous pride and work towards a zero punchlist, zero call back goal.
